Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Express Brake's mobile automotive repair services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Express Brake is a platform that connects customers with qualified, independent automotive repair professionals for mobile repair services. We facilitate the connection between customers and mechanics but do not directly provide automotive repair services.

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must not share your account with others
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

Service Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

• Service requests are subject to mechanic availability
• Pricing is determined by the assigned mechanic and service complexity
• You may cancel bookings according to our cancellation policy

Payment Terms

• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Payment authorization may be required before service begins
• Final payment is due upon service completion
• Refunds are handled according to our refund policy

Mechanic Services

Express Brake mechanics are independent contractors. While we verify credentials and insurance, the quality of work is ultimately the responsibility of the individual mechanic.

• All mechanics are required to carry appropriate insurance
• Mechanics must be ASE-certified or equivalent
• Work quality disputes should be reported immediately

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activities
• To harass, abuse, or harm another person
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the company or another user
• To transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or malicious content
• To interfere with or circumvent security features

Limitation of Liability

Express Brake shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or vehicle damage, resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users through email or prominent notice on our platform.
